“One of the greatest values of mentors is the ability to see ahead what others cannot see and to help them navigate a course to their destination.” — John C. Maxwell

The Chemical Regiment Senior Mentorship Program "invests" in our Regiment by providing a codified process to develop the next generation of Dragon Soldiers that will guide the future and improve the Regiment’s relevance in the Army. Meaningful mentorship requires a commitment by both the mentor and the mentee.

Army Regulation 600-100, Army Profession and Leadership Policy, defines mentorship as “the voluntary developmental relationship that exists between a person of greater experience and a person of lesser experience that is characterized by mutual trust and respect. The focus of mentorship is voluntary mentoring that extends beyond the scope of chain of command relationships and occurs when a mentor provides the mentee advice and counsel. Effective mentorship will positively impact personal and professional development."
