CSM Jennifer Langes
CSM Jennifer Langes was raised in San Antonio, TX. She joined the Army in 2004 at the age of 17 and attended OSUT at FLW, MO as a CBRN Specialist. She is dual military and currently serves as the Battalion Command Sergeant Major of the 22d Chemical Battalion at Fort Bliss, TX.
CSM Langes’ previous assignments include leadership positions as a CBRN Team and Squad Leader, Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Forward Support Troop First Sergeant within a Cavalry Squadron (4/2 CR), Headquarters and Headquarters Troop First Sergeant in a Brigade headquarters (2CR), CBRNE Company (Technical Escort) Company First Sergeant in 110th CBRN Battalion. Her staff experience includes Operations Sergeant for a Brigade Support Battalion in 1-25 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Branch Chief for the Master Leader’s Course, and as America’s First Corps CBRN SGM.
CSM Langes has served or participated in major operations in eight countries around the world and has two deployments to Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Spartan Shield. Most recently, she deployed her headquarters and two companies to Qatar in support of the FIFA World Cup 22. She has experience with Multi-National, Multi-Compo, and Joint organizations. Her strengths are in organizational management, cultivating culture change, unit training management, CBRN readiness across a Corps level enterprise, and managing a successful career as a dual military spouse and Soldier. CSM Langes previous assignment as the America’s First Corps SGM of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives, managing the Corps’ Defense CBRN Response Force mission, and CBRNE operational readiness across the Indo-Pacific.
CSM Langes is a graduate of class 47(71) SGM-A and holds an associate degree in business administration, a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, and is in her last semester of her Masters Degree of Science in Human Resource Management with Excelsior University.
