Colonel Morton S. Brisker

 

Colonel Morton S. Brisker was born in Canada and moved to Florida with his family in 1949. He entered active duty in 1959, and attended the Officer Basic Course at Fort McClellan, Alabama. Upon graduation, he was assigned to a research position at Edgewood, Maryland.

 

In 1962, Colonel Brisker attended Special Warfare School at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and was assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group in Bad Tolz Germany. He later commanded the HQ Detachment of the 15th Chemical Group. He served tours with NORAD, with the XXIV Corps in Vietnam, and as an instructor at the Chemical School and Ordnance School. He stayed at Aberdeen with the Test and Evaluation Command and the Project Manager for Smoke/Obscurants where, after a tour in Europe as 8th Division Chemical Officer, he returned as the Project Manager. After certification as an Army Materiel Acquisition Manager, he became the Director of Technology, HQ TECOM.

 

Colonel Brisker currently works Chemical Corps related issues for Battelle Corporation.
