CMS Ronis J. Gutierrez
CSM Ronis J. Gutierrez is a native of Santiago, Dominican Republic. He entered the United States Army on November 2003 and attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
His previous assignments include the 2/8th Field Artillery, 25th ID, Fort Lewis, WA; 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment (SCR), Vilseck, Germany; DPTMS, USAG Mannheim, Germany; HHC, USAG Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany; 26th CRD, 7th SFG (ABN), Eglin AFB, FL; CDD, 7th SFG (ABN), Eglin AFB, FL; HHC, 5th SFG (ABN), Fort Campbell, KY; 56th CRD, 5th SFG (ABN), Fort Campbell, KY; 25th CBRNE CO, 83D CM BN, Fort Stewart, GA; the Non-Commissioned Officer Leadership Center of Excellence, Fort Bliss, TX; and the 3D CM Brigade, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. CSM Gutierrez currently serves as the Army Support Activity-Black Sea (ASA-BS) Command Sergeant Major, Mihail Kogălniceanu Airbase (MKAB), Romania/Novo Selo Training Area (NSTA), Bulgaria.
CSM Gutierrez deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Endurance Freedom, and led multiple subject matter expert exchanges in Honduras and the Dominican Republic.
His military education includes the United States Army Sergeants Major Course Class 71, Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course, Garrison Pre-Command Course, Battalion Pre-Command Course, Company Commander/First Sergeant Course, Senior Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Warrior Leaders Course, Army Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, and Battle Staff Course. His civilian education includes a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice, and a Master’s Degree of Arts in Homeland Security with concentration in Anti-Terrorism. CSM Gutierrez is currently in pursuit of an Executive Certificate in Strategic Leadership and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) in Organization and Management—Leadership.
