LTC Vickie Clemons
LTC Clemons entered the United States Army in May of 2003 as an Automated Logistic Specialist (92A) and rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant before she commissioned through Officer Candidate School (OCS) in August of 2009. Throughout her career, she has undertaken a diverse array of tactical and operational roles. These include her time as a Current Operations Planner for the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps in Istanbul, Türkiye, Brigade Operations and Executive Officer for the 48th Chemical Brigade in Ft. Hood, TX, CWMD Officer at the FORSCOM HQ in Ft. Liberty, NC. Furthermore, she commanded the 21st Chemical Company and served as the BCT Chief of Operations for the 1st BDE, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Liberty, NC. LTC Clemons also served as the Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General of the 20th CBRNE Command in APG, MD and was a Tech Escort Team Leaders in the 22nd CBRNE Battalion. As an NCO, she served as a Material Management Supervisor at Ft Carson, CO, and Platoon Sergeant in the 1st Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment in South Korea.
LTC Clemons’s military education includes the NATO Staff Orientation Course, Joint and Combined Warfighting School (JCWS), Naval Command and General Staff College, Captain Career Course, Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) Staff Officer Course, Airborne, the CBRN Basic Officer Leadership Course, Officer Candidate School (OCS) SHARP and EO Staff Officer Course, Incident Commander’s Course, Tech Escort Course, Quartermaster Basic and Advance Noncommissioned Officer’s Course and the Unit Victim Advocate Course.
LTC Clemons’s awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3rd OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4th OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4th OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (2nd award), Iraqi Campaign Metal, National Defense Service Metal, Global War on Terrorism Service Metal, Korea Defense Service Metal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 2), Overseas service Ribbon.
LTC Clemons hold a Bachelor of Science from Colorado Christian University and has three Masters degrees. She obtained a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, a Masters of International Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from Colorado Christian University.
