Colonel (RET) Paul Sigler
Mr. Paul A. Sigler serves as Division Chief, Nuclear and CWMD Integration Division (NCID) for the U.S. Army Nuclear and CWMD Agency. He assumed this role on 1 June 2023.
Prior to this position, he served as CWMD Analyst for the U.S. Army Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Agency (USANCA) from November 2021 through May 2023. In this position, he served as the Secretariat of the Army Council for CWMD (ACCWMD) and the Army representative to the DoD CWMD Unity of Effort Council (UoEC).
Paul retired from the U.S. Army after 26 years of service in a variety of command and staff positions. Branched as a Chemical Officer, he worked spent much of his career in branch-immaterial positions, to include three tours in Korea culminating as the Executive Officer for the only BCT on the peninsula, and three successive tours as an Afghanistan Security Forces advisor within the Joint Afghanistan-Pakistan Hands (AFPAK Hands) program. Paul completed his military career as the Division Chief for CWMD and CBRN Defense at USANCA, where he focused on Army-wide CWMD readiness programs, interoperability with partner nations, and biodefense readiness.
His military schools include the Chemical Officer Basic and Advance Courses, Combined Arms Service and Staff School, the Navy War College, Defense Language Institute (Dari), Technical Escort (L3), and the U.S. Army Airborne School.
Paul has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN, an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Navy War College in Newport, RI, and an M.S. in Weapons of Mass Destruction Studies from Missouri State University.
