CSM Christopher Williams is a native of Augusta, Georgia. He enlisted in the Army as a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Specialist in November 1989, which is now the Chemical Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist, attended One Station Unit Training at Fort McClellan, Alabama.

CSM Williams holds an Associate Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College. CSM Williams holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Homeland Security) from Excelsior College and a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University.
His awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2OLC), Army Commendation Medal (6th OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4th OLC), Good Conduct Medal (10th Award), National Defense Medal with bronze star, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4th award).
