Reece Road Closes June 28th
On the morning of Monday 28 June, Reece Road will be closed for construction between Ernie Pyle Street and Rose Street. Closure is expected to last through 2022, possibly longer. Specific traffic impacts are:
Ernie Pyle Street will be closed at Reece Road from both southbound and northbound directions. There will be no access to Reece Road from Ernie Pyle Street.
Ernie Pyle Street between Mapes Road and Reece Road will be local traffic only.
Ernie Pyle Street between MacArthur Road and Reece Road will be local traffic only.
Access to all buildings along Ernie Pyle will remain.
Rose Street will remain fully open.
The section of Reece Road from Rose Street through the intersection with MacArthur will remain open.
Detour for Ernie Pyle Street will be on Mapes Road to MacArthur Road.
Reece Road ACP/Widening Contractor will place signage for the detour routes and local traffic only on the two sections of Ernie Pyle Street.
