The Security Guard force, which is an integral part of the Fort Meade community, maintains the safety and integrity of our gates.
We’re hosting an in-person event on November 2, 2023 for Security Guard applicants who have already received a tentative job offer or Veterans who may be qualified and eligible for non-competitive appointment.
Pre-registration is required no later than Friday, October 27, 2023. Applicants chosen to move forward in the process will receive confirmation of their attendance and instructions prior to the event. Not all applicants who attend the event will receive a tentative job offer.

Note: The Security Guard series is restricted by law to persons entitled to veteran’s preference if such applicants are available for appointment.

6. PHYSICAL AGILITY TEST: 1.5MILE RUN IN 17.5 MINUTES &19 PUSHUPS IN 2 MINUTES
