German and Italian Wreath-Laying Ceremony

Nov 16, 2025, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

U.S. Army Garrison Fort George G. Meade invites members of the public to attend the German and Italian Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Fort Meade Post Cemetery.

This annual tradition, open to the public for the first time, brings German and Italian service members to place wreaths at the gravesites of World War II prisoners of war.

Calling All Dads Workshop

A 4-week workshop to educate fathers on practical parenting skills regarding child development and effective discipline as well as self-care, the role of fathers, and communication skills. This interactive group environment allows fathers to discuss, share concerns, and gain support from one another.

Open to: Active Duty, Family Members, Retirees, DoD Civilians and Contractors.

Location: Virtually via Microsoft Teams or in-person as requested.
