Feb. 18 Return to Work Resources

As we prepare for the return of in-person work on Tuesday, Feb. 18 here, we want to ensure a smooth transition for everyone. With the increase in personnel on post, you can expect extra time at the gates and potentially longer wait times for services. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to adjust to the new routine.

To help you plan and navigate the post, we've compiled some useful information:

Gate hours can be found on our installation access webpage and on My Army Post app.

Overflow parking areas on post are highlighted on the map above. Please take a moment to review and familiarize yourself with these locations. Additionally, please remember that vehicles parked in unauthorized areas, including fire lanes, are subject to towing at the owner's expense. We urge everyone to park in designated areas and avoid blocking fire lanes to ensure a safe and efficient commute for all.

We also encourage you to consider alternative transportation options, including:

Fort Meade Shuttle: Anne Arundel County offers a direct shuttle provided between Fort Meade and the Odenton MARC station every 30 minutes. The schedule can be viewed here.

Ride-share options: The Maryland Department of Transportation offers rideshare, carpool, and vanpool options to commuters. For more information, click here.

Washington Headquarters Services offers transit benefits in amounts equal to employees’ personal commuting costs known as the Mass Transportation Benefit Program. MTBP is offered to eligible employees and military service members, to the extent authorized by law and regulation, to reduce pollution and traffic congestion, preserve the environment, and expand transportation alternatives.
