The Fort Meade Energy Office ensures the availability, quality and security of energy and water for the installation without degrading the environment, mission readiness or the well-being of our service members, civilians and military families; participates in the national effort to conserve energy and water resources without degrading readiness, the environment or quality of life; attains established energy and water conservation goals; participates in research and development efforts regarding new and improved energy technologies contributing to energy conservation.
