Fort Meade to host Security Guard Hiring Fair August 22

Fort Meade will host a Department of the Army Security Guard Hiring Fair, August 22, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pershing Hall, located at 4550 Parade Field Lane. This is a one-stop, mass-hiring event open to the public, no DoD-ID required.

Interested applicants should come to the event with a resume, DD 214 (if applicable), and 2 forms of government-issued ID. Interested applicants should be prepared for:

- Application Process

- Interviews

- Initiation of the Security Process

- On-site Drug Testing

- Part 1 of the Medical Examination

- Physical Agility Test: 1 ½ mile run in 17 ½ minutes and 19 push-ups in 2 minutes (Please remember to bring workout clothes with you for the PT Test)

Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This event is first come, first serve. Non-DoD applicants can enter the installation via the visitor's lane at the Rockenbach Gate.
