Chaplains provide the Fort Drum community with comprehensive and relevant worship and religious education opportunities in order to strengthen spiritual fitness and resilience.

Chapels

The Fort Drum chaplain staff oversees and operates three chapels:

  • Po Valley Family Life and Spiritual Center, Bldg. 4405, Po Valley Road

  • Riva Ridge Chapel, Bldg. 10030, Riva Ridge Loop

 

Worship Services

The Religious Support Office provides a variety of religious services for Soldiers, families and retirees and DoD civilians, including Traditional Protestant, Lutheran, Chapel Next and Gospel; Roman Catholic; Jewish, and Muslim services.

Worship service times are as follows:

 

Catholic 

Confession:  Saturday 4 p.m., Main Post Chapel

Mass:  Saturday 5 p.m., Main Post Chapel

Mass:  Sunday 9 a.m., Main Post Chapel

Sacraments:  Wednesday 6 p.m., Po Valley Chapel

Mass:  Thursday noon, Riva Ridge Chapel

 

Protestant

Lutheran Service:  Sunday 9:30 a.m., Riva Ridge Chapel

- Modeled towards Anglican, Lutheran, and Episcopal services.

Gospel Service:  Sunday 10 a.m., Po Valley Chapel

- Enthusiastic, inspirational, Protestant worship service. 

Traditional Service:  Sunday 11 a.m., Riva Ridge Chapel

- Patterned after mainline denominations such as Presbyterian, Methodist, and Baptist faiths.

Chapel Next Service:  Sunday 11 a.m., Main Post Chapel

- Contemporary worship service similar to non-denominational with praise and worship songs.

 

Jewish

Shabbos:  Friday 6 p.m., Riva Ridge Chapel

Operation Helping Hand
