Mission

The 10th Mountain Division (LI) and Fort Drum Protocol office serves on the front lines of diplomatic engagement, promoting cross-cultural exchange while building new bridges of understanding between people and cities throughout upstate New York and the 10th Mountain Division (LI) and Fort Drum area of responsibility.

Services

The Protocol office provides the highest level of expertise, training, information, and technical advice regarding internationally and nationally accepted rules of protocol to the 10th Mountain Division (LI) and Fort Drum commander, deputy commanding general-support, deputy commanding general-operations, chief of staff, chief of public affairs, division staff, tenant, and subordinate units.

The 10th Mountain Division (LI) and Fort Drum Protocol webpage will have forms and documents to help visitors and guests plan their trip to Fort Drum. Resources will include Distinguished Visitor Notification packages, contact phone numbers, regulations, and information on upcoming events, including sequence of events, seating charts, updates to location due to weather, and other products or information that will be helpful to visitors and VIPs.
