Services:
TAP – Executes program to provide tools and resources to Soldiers, family members, veterans, and Department of the Army civilians who are making career decisions. Offers all required and optional Veterans Opportunity to Work and Career Readiness Standards services and a variety of employer connection events.
Managing Your Education Counselor – Provides facilitation of two-day MYEd seminar and individual counseling to those seeking to attend school after transition from active duty.
Career Skills Program – Provides connection to Employment Skills Training and Internship opportunities to Soldiers within 180 days of separation.
Department of Veterans Affairs – Provides assistance with processing of VA benefits claims, including processing of VA disability compensation claims.
VA Benefits Advisers – Provide facilitation of VOW VA Benefits and Services class and individual counseling to Soldiers and family members seeking additional information about VA benefits, including GI Bill benefits and eBenefits website and registration.
Education and Employment Initiative (E2I) – Provides counseling and connection, for Soldiers in the IDES (Integrated Disability Evaluation System) process, to employment and education opportunities.
New York State Department of Labor Disabled Veteran Outreach Program – Provides counseling and employment assistance to Soldiers and Family members with barriers to employment.
New York State Division of Veterans Affairs – Provides assistance with initiation of VA disability claims process and with requesting NYS Veteran benefits.
Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) – Provides assistance with initiation of VA disability claims process.
Employment Readiness Program (ERP)
The Employment Readiness Program provides career assistance to Soldiers and military family members as they transition to and from Fort Drum.
