Public Affairs provides information through the Fort Drum website and social media platforms to keep members of the post community informed about news, events and policies while promoting timely, accurate, truthful, two-way communication between the commander and internal audiences.

Community Relations coordinates requests for military support of public events and patriotic celebrations, tours – including the popular Fort Drum History Tours – and field trips on post, and law enforcement and emergency services use of installation training facilities. Community Relations programs support and sustain relationships between service members and leaders at Fort Drum and citizens of neighboring civilian communities.
