Weather Outlook:
Current: Overcast 27°F, North Wind at 13 mph, Wind Chill at 16°F.
This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 30°F. North wind around 8 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 15°F. northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight.
Tuesday: Showers, mainly after 4pm. High near 43°F. Breezy, with a southeast wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 18 to 23 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Rain showers before 3am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers between 3am and 4am, then a slight chance of snow showers after 4am. Low around 30°F. Breezy, with a southwest wind 14 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Announcements
Increased noise levels anticipated
during aviation training on post
The New York National Guard's 174th Attack Wing will conduct aviation training Feb. 1-3 on post.
Several large munitions will be used, including heavy bomb drops. Community members can expect elevated noise levels from the training, especially those who live or work near Range 48.

Rail operations could impact traffic
Fort Drum officials have announced that CSX employees will be on the installation to conduct rail operations between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. on the following dates: Feb. 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Traffic will be impacted on Tigris River Valley Road, Conway Road, and Mount Belvedere Boulevard during these times.
Parking restrictions take effect
No parking will be allowed along streets and roadways on post through April 1, per Fort Drum Regulation 190-5. Vehicles in violation will be ticketed (monetary fine) and may be towed at the owner's expense if impeding snow removal.
