The Army also offers money for education, comprehensive health care, generous vacation time, family services and support groups, special pay for special duties and cash allowances to cover the cost of living.

Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS)
The Fort Drum Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers Program (BOSS) supports the overall quality of life for single and unaccompanied Soldiers (including single parents) on the installation. The Fort Drum BOSS program supports the chain of command by identifying quality-of-life issues and concerns by providing recommendations for improvement.
It assiMountain Mudder.jpgsts single Soldiers in identifying and planning recreational and leisure activities that are offered in a safe and exciting environment. It provides an opportunity for single Soldiers to participate and contribute to their communities and gives the individual a sense of responsibility and involvement.

The BOSS program is vital to overall mission accomplishment and serves as a unified voice for single Soldiers. Find out more about your unit and installation program so BOSS can become one of your many tools for success.
