Simulation Branch personnel provide everything necessary from facilities and equipment to subject-matter experts for Soldiers and units that facilitate Mission Command training. This multi-faceted team is composed of representatives from all war-fighting functions.

The Townsend Mission Training Complex (TMTC) is the nucleus for integration of Mission Command constructive simulations, virtual training, live maneuver exercises, and gaming training platforms. The TMTC serves as Fort Drum’s access point to a global digital live-virtual-constructive Live, Virtual, Constructive-Integrating Architecture (LVC-IA) training network. The support menu offered at the TMTC builds from individual sustainment training, to staff and command post training, to full unit formations using a synthetic training environment (STE).
