Due to the impending inclement weather Fort Meade garrison is going to reduced operations beginning at 12 p.m. Monday, Mar. 16. Fort Meade garrison is authorizing an early release of its employees beginning at noon.
Garrison employees are authorized four hours of administrative leave today. Individuals on a telework agreement are asked to bring home their computers in case of any disruptions to tomorrow's work schedule.
Non-Garrison personnel should check with organizational leadership to confirm unit-specific status.
Child & Youth Services (CYS)
Individuals with children at CYS facilities are asked to pick up their children starting at 12 p.m. and no later than 1 p.m., so employees can leave before the weather arrives.
Gate Information
Mapes/175 will be open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The VCC will close at 12 p.m. Rockenbach and Mapes/32 will be open until 6 p.m.
Facility Status
All AAFES service will close at 5 p.m. Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center will close at 12 p.m. The Commissary is open until further notice. The Dining Facility is scheduled to be open for normal hours. An update will be made to this post pending any changes.
