Delayed Opening – Dec. 5 Weather Advisory

Due to inclement weather, the installation will operate with a 10 a.m. delayed opening tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 5.

Employee Guidance

  • Garrison employees are authorized unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework, with supervisor approval.

  • Non-garrison personnel should check with organizational leadership to confirm unit-specific status.

Facility Hours

  • Garrison facilities and services: Open at 10 a.m., including the ID Card Office, gym, and other DFMWR facilities.

  • Child Care: Parents may begin dropping off children at installation child care facilities at 10 a.m.

  • Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center & Epes Dental Clinic: Open at 10 a.m.

  • Commissary & AAFES facilities: Operate on regular hours.

  • Freedom Inn Warrior Restaurant: Operates on regular hours.

  • Corvias neighborhood centers: Operate on regular hours. Please check your email for specific neighborhood center updates.

Gate Hours

  • Reece Road: 24/7

  • Rockenbach: 5:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

  • Mapes/32: 5:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

  • Mapes/175: Closed due to maintenance

  • Visitor Control Center: 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. | 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Monitoring & Updates

Installation leadership will monitor the weather overnight, and an update will be posted if the status changes.
