Kitchell has served in various positions in the United States and forward deployed. She has commanded in Forces Command and Recruiting Command at the company level and served as a staff officer at multiple echelons.
Kitchell holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a master’s in international studies. She is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
