Advanced Leader Course
The Advanced Leader Course (ALC) is a military occupational skill-specific course that provides junior Military Intelligence (MI) NCOs an opportunity to enhance leadership, technical skill, tactical expertise and experience needed to lead squad-size units. The scope of tasks/competencies addressed in ALC provides squad and platoon level perspective and builds upon experience gained in previous training and operational assignments. Note: ALC is a two-phase course. Phase I is virtual with a focus on NCO Common Core Competencies and is a prerequisite to attend Phase II (resident).
35F ALC: ALL-SOURCE INTELLIGENCE
The 35F All-Source Intelligence ALC is performance-based and scenario-driven. This course trains and evaluates an NCO's ability to conduct and supervise intelligence analysis and solve multiple problem sets at various echelons during large-scale combat operations.
35G ALC: GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE
The 35G Geospatial Intelligence ALC is designed to train and evaluate the 35G NCO's ability to manage imagery analysis at the Brigade Combat Team and national level, ensure quality of external scene spectral data exploitation products, identify and select imagery collection assets to support targeting.
35M ALC: HUMAN INTELLIGENCE
The 35M Human Intelligence ALC is a hands-on, performance based, scenario-driven course used to train and evaluate the 35M NCO's ability to plan, establish, and supervise human intelligence (HUMINT) collection operations at all echelons using regulatory parameters and doctrinal guidelines.
35N ALC: SIGNALS INTELLIGENCE
The 35N Signals Intelligence ALC provides instruction on managing signals intelligence support to the targeting process, integrating signals intelligence (SIGINT) into the information collection process, de-confliction of signals intelligence/electronic warfare operations, managing signals intelligence support to the intelligence preparation of the battlefield process, verifying non-communications signals intelligence analysis, and releasing signals intelligence reports and products.
35P ALC: SIGINT VOICE INTERCEPTOR
The 35P Signals Intelligence Voice Interceptor ALC is a performance-oriented course. The course is designed to train and evaluate the 35P NCO's ability to plan communication intelligence (COMINT) collection, analyze COMINT collection requirements, evaluate an enemy electronic order of battle and validate sanitized SIGINT reports at the Brigade Combat Team and national level.
35L ALC: COUNTERINTELLIGENCE
The 35L Counterintelligence ALC trains and evaluates the counterintelligence (CI) sergeant's ability to plan, organize, and evaluate CI missions and activities across the Army's strategic roles during large-scale combat operations.
35S ALC: SIGNALS COLLECTOR/ANALYST
The 35S Signals Collector/Analyst ALC is a performance-oriented course. The course is designed to train and evaluate the 35S NCO's ability to allocate collection and analysis resources to support mission requirements, coordinate interaction with other data collection and processing activities, prepare technical reports and quality control technical databases in support of collection operations.
35T ALC: MI SYSTEMS MAINTAINER/INTEGRATOR
The 35T Military Intelligence Systems Maintainer/Integrator ALC is a 40-day, hands-on, performance-based and scenario-driven course. The course trains and evaluates the 35T sergeant's ability to plan, organize and evaluate 35T missions and activities across the Army's strategic roles during large-scale combat operations.
Senior Leader Course
The Senior Leader Course (SLC) is designed to train Senior MI NCOs (non-MOS specific) to lead and supervise Soldiers, manage intelligence activities and resources as a multi-skilled technician in a maneuver support role. The course also trains and evaluates NCOs' ability to lead and evaluate intelligence activities and resources in at various echelons during large-scale combat operations in support to multi-domain operations. Students receive instruction on crafting analytical essays, evaluating unit training readiness, evaluation and revision of Intelligence Architecture Plans, Analyzing Intelligence Operations and intelligence doctrine and direct intelligence support to Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP). Note: SLC is a two-phase course. Phase I is virtual with a focus on NCO Common Core Competencies and is a prerequisite to attend Phase II (resident).
