LTC_Arny_Dallen_R_Photo.pngLt. Col. Dallen R. Arny is a 2003 graduate of Southern Virginia University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Leadership. Arny was commissioned in the Military Intelligence Corps through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Virginia Military Institute.  His military education includes the Military Intelligence Officer’s Basic Course, U.S. Army Ranger School, U.S. Army Airborne School, the Military Intelligence Captain’s Career Course, the Command and General Staff College, and the School of Advanced Military Studies.

Arny has served in a variety of assignments, including Assistant S2 at South Korea’s only U.S. Army Armor Brigade and the 2nd Ranger Battalion at Fort Lewis, Washington; S2 at the 8th Psychological Operations Battalion at Fort Bragg, North Carolina (known as Fort Liberty since 2023); RS2 at the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Company Commander at the 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in both C/519th and HHC/525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade; Professor of Military Science at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio; and Division G2 at the storied 11th Airborne Division at Fort Richardson, Alaska.

Arny’s overseas assignments have included four combat tours to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, three combat tours to Afghanistan in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Resolute Support, and one overseas tour to South Korea, for a combined 51 months of overseas service.

Arny has received numerous awards during his military career and is the proud father of seven children. He was recently selected to serve as the senior intelligence officer at the Mission Command Training Program at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
