Maj. Andrew Harris was commissioned in 2008 as an Infantry Officer and has been an All Source Intelligence Officer since 2012. He is currently the Chief of Knowledge and Analysis at NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Türkiye in Istanbul. in July 2024, he will be an Army Fellow at the Office of Management and Budget at the Executive Office of the President.
He was previously assigned as Brigade S2, 210th Field Artillery Brigade at Camp Casey, Korea; 2nd Infantry Division G35 at Camp Humphreys, Korea; Executive Officer for SES Clyde Harthcock, Deputy to the CG of U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command; Battalion S-2 of 1-509 Parachute Infantry Regiment in Fort Johnson, Louisiana; Assistant S-2 of 4th Brigade 10th Mountain Division (now 3rd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division) in Fort Johnson, Louisiana; Company Executive Officer and Support Platoon Leader in HHC 1st Battalion 4th Infantry Regiment, and Infantry Platoon Leader in A Company 1st Battalion 4th Infantry Regiment in Hohenfels, Germany.
He holds master’s degrees in Strategic Intelligence Studies from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C., and in Military Operations from the Advanced Military Studies Program at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. His bachelor’s degree is in English Literature from The Citadel.
