Multiple virtual counseling positions open

Headquarters, Installation Management Command has established a virtual (remote) counseling cell to support education centers around the world. There are multiple GS-9 guidance counselor positions currently open on USAJobs in support of this effort. These are term positions for two years but may be extended up to six years or become permanent.
This is a great remote opportunity to counsel individuals to help them develop and achieve their educational goals.
It could be perfect for military spouses who make permanent-change-station moves, as they can still retain their employment.
Department of the Army civilians also are encouraged to apply if they are seeking a temporary promotion to a term GS-9 position. These individuals may retain the right to return to their former positions at the conclusion of the term.
If you’re interested, apply sooner rather than later, because lists are being pulled weekly!
