Celebrate Red Ribbon Week for Drug Awareness

Fort Belvoir Army Substance Abuse Program would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week, 23-31 October 2022. Red Ribbon Week is recognized on a national level as one of its oldest and largest drug prevention awareness programs.

The mission of the campaign is to support our community, families, and live a healthy drug free life. Take advantage of this time and educate our youth and teenagers about the many kinds of drug temptations as they become young adults. Vaping, smoking and alcohol, are just a few common examples of substances that young people are challenged with. The Fort Belvoir Army Substance Abuse Program goal is to help prevent substance misuse/abuse amongst the youth, to inspire them to make healthy choices, and inspire them to strive for healthy goals. This year Red Ribbon Theme “Celebrate Life Live Drug Free.”

During Red Ribbon Week please visit the Fort Belvoir Army Substance Abuse Program Facebook page at the following link: www.facebok.com/FortBelvoirASAP/ for daily activities and encourage everyone to get involved by liking the page and posting messages in support of Red Ribbon Week.

The point of contact is the Prevention Coordinator, 703-805-1010.
