The 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power) is a versatile power generation battalion assigned to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that provides commercial-level power to military units and federal relief organizations during full-spectrum operations. Additionally, the commander serves as the Commandant of the U.S. Army Prime Power School, the institution responsible for the development of Army and Navy power generation specialists. The organization is charged with the rapid provision of Army generators to support worldwide requirements.
The Terrorism and Criminal Investigation Unit investigates offenses committed against U.S. Military and DoD civilian personnel; other U.S. nationals; or U.S. interests by terrorist organizations or individuals, as directed by the Secretary of the Army. It also provides dedicated investigative support to the Office of the Chief Prosecutor for Military Commissions. Conducts other criminal investigations as directed by the commander, 701st Military Police Group (CID).
The National Capital Region Field Office (NCRFO) is an element of the 902d Military Intelligence Group, the United States Army unit responsible for carrying out Counterintelligence (CI) activities to protect the U.S. Army, selected U.S. Department of Defense forces and agencies, classified information and technologies by detecting, identifying, neutralizing, and exploiting Foreign Intelligence and Security Services (FISS), international terrorist groups, and the Insider Threat.

The BELVOIR THRIFT SHOP is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) private organization (run by the Belvoir Community Committee) first begun in 1950 and has been in continuous operation on Fort Belvoir for the past 68 years. We return the money we raise to the community in the form of scholarships, grants and consignment checks. The Thrift Shop employs 13 military family members in our day-to-day operations as well as utilizing the volunteer efforts of over 24 regular volunteers.

The Joint Personal Property Shipping Office - Mid Atlantic (JPPSO-MA) provides shipment, receipt and storage of personal property for military and civilian members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard moving into, within, or out of the National Capital Region including the District of Columbia and sizeable portions of the neighboring states of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Operational Support Airlift Activity (OSA-A) is a multi-component Activity under both The Army Aviation Brigade (TAAB), Military District of Washington (MDW), and the Army National Guard (ARNG) which oversees the management and execution of the total Army Non-Executive OSA program. OSA-A conducts analysis and recommends which ARNG fixed wing assets deploy in response to state, national and global contingencies. As directed, represents the Army for managing the non-executive OSA fixed-wing fleet. Represents the ARNG as the headquarters that oversees operations, training, standardization, maintenance, readiness, and mobilizations for ARNG fixed wing units in a Title 32 status as delegated in a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Director of the Army National Guard (DARNG) and the Commander of MDW.
For the past decade, Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier has provided our Soldiers with capabilities to ensure they remain decisive and dominant throughout the full spectrum of military operations. Our Army conducts offensive operations, defensive operations, stability operations and civil support operations with Soldiers equipped and trained to use the very best equipment and capabilities that PEO Soldier can provide.
PEO EIS is responsible for managing and providing the information technology network and business systems that Soldiers and the U.S. Army need to operate every day. More than 3,000 military, civilian and contractors make up a geographically dispersed workforce serving as the Army's trusted network and software acquisition professionals including network engineers, program managers, logisticians, IT specialists and cyber security experts. Our diverse portfolio of 37 program offices and 71 acquisition programs support and field Army and DOD communications, logistics, medical, finance, personnel, training and procurement systems for all ten combatant commands, managing approximately $3.5 billion each year. As part of the generating force – the sector of the Army that trains and equips our Soldiers – PM CCS is committed to providing smaller, lighter, more lethal munitions that ensure increased mobility and counter-mobility to the full spectrum of Army forces as currently organized and envisioned for the next 20 years.
To that end, PM CCS actively partners with our Soldiers to develop and field equipment that directly addresses their needs on the battlefield and beyond. PM SWAR supports Soldiers through the acquisition of integrated Soldier systems. PM SWAR product managers develop and integrate components into complete systems designed to increase Soldiers' situational awareness and combat effectiveness, decrease combat load, and improve mission flexibility.
PM SPIE develops and fields advanced Soldier protection products, comfortable uniforms that enhance mission effectiveness, and improved parachute systems. These products are designed to protect Soldiers and allow them to operate in any conditions.
The Army Rapid Capabilities Office was created in August 2016 to expedite the delivery of critical combat materiel capabilities to the Warfighter to meet Combatant Commanders' needs. In December 2018, its mission was expanded and its name changed to the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office. The Office is headquartered at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

MICC-Fort Belvoir provides all contracting support to Fort Belvoir Garrison and other tenant organizations at Fort Belvoir, Va., Fort Meade, Md., the Military District of Washington, Fort Detrick, Md., Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., and Fort A.P. Hill, Va., as well as many of the tenants on Fort Belvoir. In addition, we support all non-medical procurements for Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

The 93D Signal Brigade commands, controls, and defends the Eastern region of the LandWarNet (LWN) in CONUS and supports operating and generating forces engaged in full spectrum operations enhancing battle command through the transparent delivery of LWN capabilities.
