Defense Acquisition University Exceeded $40,000 During the 2023 Combined Federal Campaign

The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all Federal employees and retirees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

The members of the Defense Acquisition University answered the call by contributing a generous $46,378 to help those in need!  Their 2023 goal was $30,000, but they exceeded that by 155%.

These monetary donations will support the missions of the thousands of participating local, national, and international charities.

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), overseen by the Office of Personnel Management, is one of the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaigns, with 36 CFC zones throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year with nearly $8.7 billion raised since 1961.

Each fall, federal civilian, military, and postal employees and retirees pledge funds and volunteer hours to help those in need locally, across the nation, and throughout the world.

CFC participating charities rely on the funding they receive from the CFC each year.  This year’s success is a testament to the Federal community’s commitment to making the world a better place.

On behalf of all the people who will be helped by your generosity, thank you!

Your pledges will make a difference during the coming weeks, months, and years.
