The Community Information Exchange, or CIE, is held every month, and is open to anyone who wishes to attend, including all U.S. Army Hawaii Soldiers and family members. The meetings are from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., typically the fourth or last Thursday of each month, at the Tropics Recreation Center on Schofield Barracks. Check the community calendar for any changes to the schedule. Meetings are not held in December. They are also streamed live on the garrison's Facebook ⚠ page.
Community Information Exchange meetings inform Soldiers and families on installation and community matters. The primary responsibility for conducting Community Information Exchange meetings rests with the garrison commander and staff to develop the agenda of installation-wide and community-wide topics of interest and concern.
The garrison commander and/or the U.S. Army Hawaii senior commander attends and supports the meetings, along with garrison subject-matter experts and directors.
