Welcome to Fort Bragg, North Carolina! The following information is to assist you and your Family upon arrival and when in-processing the Fort Bragg Installation. The XVIII Airborne Corps Replacement Company is a 24-hour operation providing reception and in-processing functions for incoming Soldiers and Families. Replacement Company conduct customer service for all permanent party Soldiers United States Army Forces Command, United States Army Reserve Command, Joint Special Operations Command, XVII Airborne Corps, 82d Airborne Division, United States Army Special Operations Command, tenant units, Active Guard Reserve and United States Army John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. If you are a WOMAC Student on assignment to the Warrior Transition Battalion you aren’t required to in process through the Replacement Company. You will conduct in processing through WTB.

Chaplains need to report to the Installation Chaplain’s Office, Bldg. 1-2336, located on Hamilton St. to receive their assignment memorandum prior to in-processing OMD. At the Replacement company is where you will be signed in off leave. You must sign in to begin the initial phase of in processing. You will need the following documents upon arrival: one copy of your orders with any amendments and one copy of your DA Form 31.

COVID 19 In-Processing Procedures

Upon your arrival, you will report directly to XVIII ABN CORPS Replacement Company you will be screened by one of our medics to determine if you meet the quarantined criteria. Based off that evaluation will determine if you will go into a 14 day quarantine or isolation. If you are cleared you will proceed to conduct in-processing at the Soldier Support Center.  Our medics are available 7 days a week 0730-0800 and 1930-2000.  If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding COVID 19 medical conditions or awareness, please contact the WOMACK Army Medical Center COVID 19 HOTLINE at 1-(866) 462-3821. 

General In-processing Information

 

When placed on assignment to Fort Bragg there are initial steps to complete before arriving. First, if you have not done so already email your complete DA 5434 to your current Total Army Sponsorship Program Manager for accountability purposes. Soldiers in the rank of E-6 and below are required to have a sponsor; E-7 and above are not, however if you are new to the area it is highly encouraged that you request a sponsor in order to assist you in your transition to Fort Bragg.

Next, you will need to reserve temporary lodging.  Unaccompanied Soldiers in the rank of E-5 and below will be assigned a barracks at the XVIII Airborne Replacement Company.  Soldiers in the rank of E-6 and above or accompanied by their Family members are encouraged to make temporary housing arrangements prior to reporting.  If you plan to secure on-post housing for you and your family then you will need to contact the Corvias Housing Office {910-495-0875} and follow their guidance. The on-post lodging facilities are Moon Hall and can be reached at {910-396-7700}. The Landmark Inn can be reached at {910-495-1215}. Carolina Inn & Normandy House which can be reached at {910-396-7700} is the only on post official lodging facilities. Statements of non-availability are only issued if official on post lodging is not available. Official travelers must attempt to gain on post official lodging before a Statement of Non-availability is issued.

Students

WAMC (Medical) Students: Soldiers being assigned to Student Company / Medical Hold at WAMC will report to the Administrative Officer of the Day (AOD) at the front desk located at WOMACK Army Medical Center. WOMACK AOD- COM: (910) 907-6000.

USAJFKSWCS (Special Operations) students will report to the XVIII Airborne Corps Replacement Company Bldg. 4-1437 where they will be assigned to the SWC in-processing platoon who will assist in all student’s installation and USAJFKSWC specific in-processing needs.

Required document for all students

 - Two copies of the orders bring them to the course, including all amendments.

 - DD Form 93 (Record of Emergency Data), Jan 08 version

 - DD Form 8286 (SGLV)

 - ERB/ORB

 - DD 4/1 - 4/2 – 4/3 (Enlistment /Reenlistment contracts)

 - Oath of Office (Officers Only)

 - All prior DD 214’s if prior service (Only National Guards and Reserves).

 - Copy of Airborne diploma, jump orders, and jump log.

 

Army Reserve and National Guard Soldiers reporting for ADSW, AT or ADT

If you are an Army Reserve or National Guard Soldier on mobilization orders contact the MOB Site at 910-396-5463 for additional guidance if your unit is not located on Fort Bragg. You will, at a minimum, need to go through the USAR/NG Finance Office located behind the Soldier Support Center. Customer service hours are from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., M-F.  - Marriage, Divorce and Dependent Birth Certificates

 - Mortgage/Lease Agreements

 - Powers of Attorney

 - Will

 - Child Support Documentation (Court Orders, Separation Agreements, etc.)

 - Medical Records, Shot Records, and if applicable, Vision and Hearing Records

 - Dental Records

 - SGLV Form 8286, Service members’ Group Life Insurance Election and Certificate

 - DD Form 93, Record of Emergency Data, Jan 08 Version

 - 2 Sets of Identification (Dog) tags on separate chains

Soldier Support Center

The Soldier Support Center houses many of the in-processing agencies. Before reporting to the Soldier Support Center you must stop by Replacement Company first in order to receive the in-processing checklist. The Soldier Support Center is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily M-F closed on federal holidays. The stations include verification of assignment and pinpoint orders, personnel, finance, medical records screening, ID Cards and updating, post vehicle registration, dental screening, ACS, Youth Services, CIF and transportation. You will receive 5 business days to complete all in-processing requirements.

 

Transportation

From Fayetteville Airport: Soldiers can request a taxi to XVIII Airborne Corps Replacement Company. Most of the airport taxi’s DO NOT accept credit cards, so you will need to be prepared to pay with cash. The average cost for a one-way trip is $30. Remember to retain your receipts for finance. There is also a courtesy phone at the Fayetteville Airport to call the Reception desk at 910-396-4244 for transportation if needed.
