Mission
The 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command coordinates operational sustainment support, optimizing the delivery of sustainment effects in the XVIII Airborne Corps and NORTHCOM area of operations for emergent, global contingencies and ongoing named operations. On order, 3rd ESC deploys into an Area of Operations (AO) or Joint Area of Operations (JOA) to achieve expeditionary operational reach in support of an Army Service Component Command (ASCC) or a Joint Task Force (JTF).
Vision
3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command is prepared to support XVIII ABN Corps as the Contingency ESC to Facilitate and Integrate Corps Level Materiel Readiness during Deployment and Garrison Operations.

Build and Sustain Readiness: Prepare to “Fight Tonight” & Facilitate / Integrate Corps Materiel Readiness - 3rd ESC is prepared to provide XVIII Airborne Corps sustainment capabilities and C2 to support all requirements CONUS and OCONUS. We are the Contingency ESC. The Material Readiness Center provides data analytics and anticipatory logistics utilizing the full capability of the Joint Logistics Enterprise to Support XVIII ABN Corps.
Sustainment Integration: Garrison Installation and Outload Support - XVIII ABN Corps HQs and the Corps Separate BDEs are adequately supported to meet their internal training requirements to “Fight Tonight”.
Modernized and Right-Size: Innovation to “Win Tomorrow’s Fight” - 3rd ESC continues to seek, develop, and integrate sustainment innovations providing supported units with World Class Sustainment.
