The requirement for DA photos has been removed at the DA level. Also, DAPMIS - the website used to store and disperse DA photos to Soldiers records (iPerms) - was sunset on 31 July 2025. Therefore, we cannot do a DA photo for you, as there is no requirement to have a DA photo on file, and no official Army website to upload a DA photo to. Exceptions to this are made on a case-by-case basis, typically (and strictly) only for required packets, such as Aide-de-camp, Ranger Regiment and Special Forces Group application requirements and Embassy assignments.
Purpose
The Fort Bragg D. A. Photo Studio provides Department of the Army Official Photographs for inclusion in official military personnel files and special assignment application packets for all noncommissioned and commissioned officers of Fort Bragg and Reserve and ARNG units in the region that are war traced to the XVIII Airborne Corps and U.S. Army Western Hemisphere Command as well as meeting the photo requirements of the Airmen assigned to Pope Field.
