Installation Transportation Office (ITO) Directory

Personal Property

 The Personal Property Shipping Office (PPSO) coordinates for the shipment and storage of personal property, to include Privately-Owned Vehicles (POV).

Location: Soldier Support Center (SSC) 4-2843 Normandy Drive (first floor)

Hours: 0730-1800 Monday -Friday

Official Travel

The Official Travel section coordinates the movement of individuals and groups who are conducting official travel by means of commercial and military conveyances, (i.e. Bus, Commercial and Military Chartered Civilian Aircraft).

Surface Movements

The Surface Movements Office coordinates shipment, receipt, and intra-post distribution of unit equipment and other cargo via commercial freight carriers (line-haul, rail, small package carriers, etc).

Per Fort Bragg Regulation 385-10 , all personnel, soldiers and civilians, are required to wear protective gear when using the loading and unloading ramp at Surface Movements.

Transportation Motor Pool (TMP)

 The Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) provides non-tactical vehicle (NTV) support for local transportation requirements. The TMP can provide various types of NTVs, such as sedans, vans (cargo and passenger), and buses. When TMP assets are not available, the TMP can assist customers with vehicle rental and lease coordination.

Other AFSBn Units

Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group (A/DACG)

The ITO A/DACG section consists of a group of dedicated professionals providing quality customer service to XVIII Airborne Corps and Special Operations Forces, in support of world-wide air deployment operations. A/DACG provides customers with Air Load Planning support and preparation of the Shippers Declaration of Dangerous Goods (SDDG) forms. We serve as the focal point for deploying units, providing effective coordination, and customer service between various Army and Air Force Agencies.

Unit Movements

Unit Movements is the primary point of contact between the deploying unit, the installation and other commands for overall deployment transportation support. Unit Movements reviews, validates, and ensures each supported unit maintains current Unit Movement Data (UMD) on file with FORSCOM IAW FORSCOM/ARNG Regulation 55-1.

Rail Operations 

Cape Fear Railway's mission as a premier power projection platform outlines the use of rail as a means of moving the deployable force by:

• Servicing Fort Bragg and conducting/overseeing all Rail Operations.
• Offering/Conducting Rail Loading/Tie-Down training for units and unit conducted training.
• Assisting units during ULACC/ITDSA Operations prior to Rail Operations.

Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) Storage Facility

Effective 3 Jan 2017, the AFSBn-Bragg opened the Installation Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) Storage Facility at the corner of Modularity Street and Old Stage Lane located in the Mod Village complex area.
