The DOD has set up a Joint Task Force Hotline to assist Servicemembers and federal government employees with their summer PCS season moves.
The PCS JTF established a 24/7 call center staffed by military personnel with firsthand PCS experience. Callers will receive regular, personalized updates until their issues are resolved.
Army Maj. Gen. Lance G. Curtis, PCS JTF Commanding General, stated that when a Servicemember is worried about their household goods, they are not focused on the mission. We are here to ensure that no military family feels alone during their move.
According to task force officials, local transportation offices are now directly managing these moves in coordination with the task force. Servicemembers or federal employees having difficulties with their shipments are encouraged to contact their transportation office or contact the PCS JTF at the contacts listed above.
