Army Family Housing

Fort Bragg's Army Family Housing is dedicated to building and providing quality privatized residential communities for Soldiers and their Families, including privatized housing for unaccompanied senior NCOs.  Army Family Housing is a branch of the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Housing Division, a Garrison element that provides oversight of Corvias, inspections, and is the Garrison advocate between service members and Corvias.  

Plain Language Brief

Incoming and current On-post housing residents are expected to complete a Plain Language Brief - Plain Language Brief Video and the Plain Language Brief Information and Tenant Bill of Rights.  Please complete prior to signing your lease and again 30 days after move in.

What Corvias does:

Corvias categorizes the request by work order type:

  • Emergency 1, 2, 3:
    - Emergency 1 includes fires or watrer leak flooding the home. Response time one hour or less.
    - Emergency 2 includes electrical problems or rozen water line. Response time four hours or less
    - Emergency 3 includes broken glass or oven not working. Response time eight hours or less.
    Emergency completion time within 24 hours.
  • Urgent: This includes cracked glass/windows, faucet, and dishwater leaks. Worker order completion within 48 hours.
  • Routine/Preventative: Includes replacing blinds, tree trimbing or hard-to-reach light bulbs. Response within three days; complete within six days.
     

Reasonable Accommodation and Modification

On-post residents seeking  options that include a Reasonable Accommodation: Change in an existing policy or practice that is necessary for a person with a disability to fully use and enjoy the leased housing.   Or a Reasonable Modification: Alteration to the physical structure of the housing unit or overall property that is necessary for the person with a disability to fully use and enjoy the housing. Reasonable modifications, if approved, are paid for by the individual requesting the modification. The requester may, in certain circumstances be required to restore the property to its original condition.  

Please review process prior to completion  -  The completed Reasonable Accommodation and Modification Request Form, along with required supporting documentation should be submitted to the Corvias Community Office Manager.   Should you need support with process or form completion, please contact your neighborhood center.  

PRIVATIZED ARMY HOUSING DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCESS

On-post residents who are experiencing concerns or issues, please review process Step 1-3 for resolving on post concerns.      Should you require escalated support after completing steps 1 and 2, please contact either the Army Family Housing Office at 910-396-1075 or an Army Housing Services Office (HSO) Advocate at (910) 908-4504.

Fence Installation

A Corvias Community Manager must approve all fence installation requests.  Detailed fence installation specifications are available at the Community Office. Where fencing is permitted.  Please review the Corvias Housing Fence Policy.  When applicable, should you need to inquire on your dig permit, please contact DPW (910) 396-0321 or maintenance.army.mil/arma
