Command Sgt. Maj. Robert White is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida. He enlisted into the United States Army in May 1999 as a Unit Supply Specialist, MOS 92Y.

White graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia, as a 92Y Unit Supply specialist.

He served one overseas tour in Korea.  He has deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of various combat and stabilization operations.

White's has attended all levels of professional military education and is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeant's Major Academy Class 68. White has completed the Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course, Master Resilience Trainer Course, Battle Staff NCO Course, Basic Airborne School, Air Assault School, Recruiter Course, Jump Master Course, Combat Skill Course, SERE 400, Pathfinder Course. His civilian education includes an Associate's in General Studies from Fayetteville Technical Community College in North Carolina and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
