Pre-Retirement / Survivor Benefits Plan (SBP) Briefing for ALL Soldiers retiring for longevity or medical reasons (Mandatory):

All Active Duty/AGR/USAR/ARNG Soldiers 12 months or less out from their anticipated retirement date are required to access pre-retirement and Survivor Benefit Plan information for review at the following sites:

Mandatory Pre-Retirement Briefings Classroom Schedule:

* Medical (MEB) – 1st, 2nd, 4th Wednesday of the month, 1 to 4 p.m., Clark Hall, Room B2-13

* Longevity (Length of Service) – 3rd Wednesday of the month, 1 to 4 p.m., Clark Hall, Room B2-13

 

Call to reserve your seat. We welcome and encourage spouse attendance.

For those who are married, we recommend you review this information with your spouse and write down your questions before contacting us. Before clearing the Retirement Service Office and completing your final out appointment with the Transition Center, you must contact us at (315) 772-6339 / 6434 / 3189, confirming you have a completed Retirement Information Worksheet and schedule retirement / SBP counseling by the Retirement Services Office. Certain mandatory paperwork must be completed by the Soldier and respective spouse before completing the clearing process. Failure to complete this process may slow or stop your out-processing.
