Jefferson County Public Health Service staff issues warning after barber shop employees test positive

 

WATERTOWN, N.Y. – Jefferson County Public Health Service has issued a public notice announcing that two employees at the D’Spot Barbershop at 1063 Arsenal Street, State Route 3, Watertown, have tested positive for COVID-19. The location is being made public because the Jefferson County Public Health Service’s investigation shows there is a possibility of exposure to members of the public.

Members of the public who received haircuts at the D’Spot Barbershop on the below listed dates and times are asked to monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the date they visited the barber shop. Symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath, or gastrointestinal illness.

  • Thursday, Aug. 27, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

  • Friday, Aug. 28, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

  • Saturday, Aug. 29, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 1, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

  • Wednesday, Sept. 2, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

 

People experiencing symptoms should call their health care provider from home or the Jefferson County Public Health Service at (315) 786-3720 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
