1SG Yevgeniy A. Levin

1SG Yevgeniy Levin is a First Sergeant of 25th ID Band there he serves since 2019. Native of Kaluga Russia, he has received undergraduate degree in Music at Gnessin College, Moscow Russia, BFA and MFA at SUNY Purchase and studied for AD in Music at University of Hartford CT. At the age of 29 in 2003 he joined US Army as a Bandsman. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advance Individual Training at the Army School of Music, Little Creek VA.

1SG Levin’s assignments include: USAREUR Band and Chorus Heidelberg Germany, 10th Mtn. Div. Band Fort Drum NY, USASOM Little Creek VA, 1st Recruiting Brigade Fort Meade MD and 25th ID Band HHBN Schofield BRKS HI.

His military courses and civilian education include: CO CDR/1SG Pre-CMD Course, Master Leader Course and Army Recruiter Course. He holds Master of Fine Arts degree in Music performance.

1SG Levin’s awards and decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal (1 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (6 OLC), Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct medal (4 OLC), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 4), Army Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Senior Army Instructor Badge, Recruiter Badge, Driver Mechanic Badge Driver Wheeled Vehicle, Marksmanship Badge Expert.
