CSM Ryan C. Reichard
Command Sergeant Major Ryan C. Reichard is the current senior enlisted leader for Hunter Army Airfield Garrison, assuming responsibility May 25, 2021.
Reichard enlisted in the Army June of 2000, attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis, VA. Throughout his career, CSM Reichard has served in numerous Noncommissioned Officer Leadership positions.
His duty assignments include Fort Cavazos, Wheeler Army Airfield, Fort Eustis and Fort Liberty. His deployments include twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Reichard’s military education includes every level of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System and the United States Army Sergeants Major Course (Class 70), First Sergeant Course, and AIT Platoon Sergeant Course. CSM Reichard earned a Master’s in Aviation Maintenance Management and Bachelors of Science Degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
His awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), Good Conduct Medal (6th award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Ribbon, Iraq Campaign Ribbon, NATO ISAF Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), Army Service Ribbon, Army Master Aviator Badge, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
