1SG Matthew F. Evans

First Sergeant Matthew f. Evans was born in Sonora, California and entered the U.S. Army on 2 Sept 2009. He attended Basic Combat Training in Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training in Fort Eustis VA.

His previous assignments include 3-2 GSAB, Camp Humphreys, South Korea (2010-2011); 6th Battalion, 101st CAB, Fort Campbell, KY (2011-2014); 2-2 Assault Battalion, Seoul Airbase, South Korea (2014-2016); Yakima Recruiting Company, Yakima, WA (2016-2020); 2-227 Aviation Regiment, Fort Cavazos, TX (2020-2023) and 3-25 GSAB, 25th CAB, Wheeler Army Airfield, HI (2023-2024).

1SG Evans military and civilian education include the UH-60M model Course, FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, FCC General Radio and Operator License and an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance from North Central Institute. He is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
