⚠️ CRITICAL REMINDER — PACKET VALIDITY

A signed LA Form 100 is only valid for 90 days from the earliest signature date. Students with expired signatures on report day will NOT be accepted.

Timelines & Key Deadlines

45 days prior to course start: Outside organizations must submit student requests to the 25th ID Schools NCO.

30 days prior: Division Schools NCO notifies units of packets received and remaining allocations.

14 days prior: Unfilled seats enter reallocation (first-come, first-served). Note: 14-day reallocation does NOT apply to JOTC.

Approval window: 45–90 days from submission. (Reach back for status at Day 90.)

Walk-On Policy

  • Walk-ons are an exception, not the rule.
  • Walk-on slots are not awarded below the BDE level.
  • The BDE School NCO or representative must be present during in-processing.
  • Bring: LA100, branch-specific record brief, and a Walk-On OML on the course report date.
  • Walk-on admittance depends on available seats and number of enrolled Soldiers.
  • JOTC walk-ons prioritize 25th ID Soldiers first; remaining slots then offered to outside organizations.
  • Unit roll call begins one hour from the designated course start time.

Official Guidelines: Link to the full Walk-On Policy memo (dated 02 Feb 2026) and the Walk-On OML roster template.

Reallocation Policy

  • Any unfilled seats 14 days prior to the course start date will be reallocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • This does NOT apply to JOTC.

Internal Unit Procedures

Organic 25th ID and USARHAW commands route training assignments through local internal operations. Contact your respective Unit Schools NCO to cross-reference allocated institutional seat slots before coordinating packets.

Notice for Organic Units

Ensure that signatures on LA Form 100 are within the 90-day validity window. While off-island restriction warnings target outside forces, strict document requirements apply to internal personnel on report day.
