COL Mike Woodall

COL Mike Woodall was commissioned as a Transportation Officer in 2004. Prior to onboarding the 25th Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, COL Woodall most recently served as the G3 and now the Support Operations Officer for 8th Theater Sustainment Command, USARPAC. His previous command assignments at the Lieutenant Colonel and Major level were within 1st Capabilities Integration Group (Airborne) in the National Capital Region; Commander - 1st Group Support Battalion, Commander - Recruiting Company, 4th BN, and Commander - Headquarters and Headquarters Company. COL Woodall also commanded the Service Detachment, 1st BN, 3rd Special Forces Group (SFG)(Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC.

His staff and special assignments include service as the Director of Logistics (J4) NATO Special Operations Component Command – Afghanistan, Executive Officer (XO) to the Director, Network Cross-Functional Team, Army Futures Command, (XO and SPO) 1st CIG(ABN), (S4) 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber), (S4) 1st BN, 3rd SFG, Director of Logistics (J4) Special Operations Task Force-South (Afghanistan), Support Operations Planner, Combined Joint Special Operations – Afghanistan, as well as other Brigade / Battalion Field and Company grade level staff positions.

He has multiple operational deployments in support of operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Djibouti, and numerous other EUCOM and CENTCOM locations.

In his civilian studies he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri. He holds a Master of Arts in International Diplomacy with a concentration in Conflict Resolution from Norwich University. He is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, KS and the National Defense University Eisenhower School of National Security and Resource Strategy, Washington, DC.

COL Woodall is married and has two children.
