CPT Karla E. Jimenez
CPT Karla E. Jimenez Gracia was born and raised in Corozal, Puerto Rico and graduated and commissioned from University of Puerto Rico as an Adjutant General Officer in 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
CPT Jimenez completed Adjutant General Basic Officer Leaders Course in 2020. Upon graduation, she spent her first four years in Baumholder, Germany and was assigned as the Brigade Strength Manager from 2020 to 2022 to 16th Sustainment Brigade (SB), 21st Theater Sustainment Command. From 2022 to 2024 she served as the Battalion S1 Officer in Charge (OIC) under 5th Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 52nd Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command.
CPT Jimenez supported Operation Allies Refuge, Operation Allies Welcome and Coronavirus-19 humanitarian missions through her time in 16th SB, and Operation European Assure, Deter and Reinforce under the 5-7th Air Defense Artillery Battalion.
CPT Jimenez transitioned to Fort Jackson, South Carolina, where she completed her Adjutant General Captains Career Course in 2024. Following graduation, she was assigned to 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Mobile Brigade, 25th Infantry Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii where she served as the Battalion S1 OIC. In 2025, she participated in the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center- Exportable exercise held at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines.
Her awards and decorations include Army Commendation Medal (1OLC), Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal (1STR), Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.
