CSM Paul. I. Fluharty

Command Sergeant Major Paul I. Fluharty enlisted into the Army on 14 July 2000 and successfully completed 13B10-OSUT Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma where he was awarded the MOS 13B (Cannon Crew Member).

CSM Fluharty’s duty assignments include Bravo Battery 2nd BN 15th Field Artillery Fort Drum, New York.  Howitzer Section Chief Alpha Battery 3rd BN 6th Field Artillery Fort Drum, New York.  Gunnery Sergeant and Platoon Sergeant Alpha Battery 4th BN 25th Field Artillery Fort Drum, New York.  Senior Observer Controller Trainer Joint Multinational Training Center Honenfels, Germany.  Battery First Sergeant Charlie Battery 1-377 Field Artillery (Air Assault) Fort Lewis, Washington.  Battery First Sergeant Bravo Battery 1st BN 37th Field Artillery Fort Lewis, Washington.  Headquarters Battery First Headquarters Battery 3rd BN 7th Field Artillery Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and Headquarters First Sergeant HHC 25th Sustainment Brigade, Battalion Command Sergeant Major, 2nd Battalion 77th Field Artillery Fort Carson, CO.

CSM Fluharty’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star (1OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (3OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), Army Achievement Medal (1SLC, 1OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon(5th Award), Overseas Service Ribbon (5th Award), and the NATO Ribbon (2nd Award). CSM Fluharty is a member of the Audie Murphy Club and Sergeant Morales Club.

CSM Fluharty has successfully completed the Basic Leader Course, Advance Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (class 68), Battle Staff, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Air Assault School. CSM Fluharty earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice from Troy University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas El Paso.
