CSM Thomas O. Marnoch

Command Sergeant Major Thomas O. Marnoch enlisted in the United States Army as a 92A Automated Logistic Specialist in May 1994.  He completed Basic Combat Training at Ft Leonard Wood, MO and Advanced Individual Training at Ft Lee, VA.

Command Sergeant Major Marnoch recently served as the Command Sergeant Major 1-357th Brigade Support Battalion (TS), 189th Combined Arms Training Brigade, First Army JBLM, WA. His previous assignments include Command Sergeant Major 325th Brigade Support Battalion at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Additionally, he has served in the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft Bragg, NC; 528th Special Operations Sustainment Brigade, Ft Bragg, NC; 551st Inland Cargo Transfer Company, Camp Carroll Korea; Multinational Forces Iraq CJ1/4/8, Camp Victory Iraq; 501st Sustainment Brigade, Camp Carroll Korea; 18th Airborne Corps Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Ft Bragg NC; 520th Maintenance Company, Camp Humphreys Korea; 15th Forward Support Battalion, Ft Hood TX; 2nd Forward Support Battalion, Camp Casey Korea; 4th Infantry Division Artillery, FT Hood TX; 4-42 Field Artillery Battalion, Ft Hood TX; and the 289th Quartermaster Company, FT Hood TX. He has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Inherent Resolve.

Command Sergeant Major Marnoch has completed all levels of the NCOPDS, and is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 64). He is also a graduate of the First Sergeant Course and the Battle Staff NCO Course. Command Sergeant Major Marnoch has also completed the Defense Distribution Management Course and the Support Operations Course. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in History from Campbell University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern New Hampshire University.

Command Sergeant Major Marnoch’s awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal; the Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC); the Joint Commendation Medal; the Army Commendation Medal (7 OLC); the Army Achievement Medal (13 OLC); the Joint Meritorious Unit Commendation and the Parachutist Badge.  Furthermore, he is a member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

Command Sergeant Major Marnoch is married and has two children.
