For JBLM, sustainability means managing our resources to support the present installation mission without compromising our ability to accomplish the mission in the future. The Installation Sustainability Program (ISP) is staffed by strategic cross-functional teams; is enabled by operational EMS teams; and is overseen by a cross section of senior leadership chaired by the Joint Base Commander. JBLM’s ISP is guided by seven long-term goals. Six sustainability teams are responsible for the achievement of these goals. These teams facilitate and implement projects and initiatives that move JBLM toward the seven goals.
