JBLM diverts waste from landfills.The Earthworks mission is to preserve and enhance the environment by composting organic wastes and recycling inorganic construction and demolition debris.
Earthworks materials are only available to military units at no cost. Materials are not available to individuals or contractors. All material or disposal requests must be made at least two days in advance for approval and scheduling. Units must provide their own military or GSA vehicles for hauling.
